very engaging and really caring, he makes complex discrete math simple. 3 hour lectures are divided in 30 min chunks with breaks in between, finishing early sometimes. Attendance is mandatory to understand concepts but slides are posted. Exam questions are from his $30 self written textbook. Practice the homework for easy A. 2 midterms and a final.

Dr. Bonato is genuinely a game changer. His lectures are clear and super easy to follow. He uses lots of examples, interactive activities, and breaks. The homework was very similar to the tests, so it really helped me prepare and get a high grade.

OVERALL: MTH 110 is a GPA booster CLASSES: Interactive PERSONALITY: Kind, approachable, won't judge u TESTS: PREDICTABLE (same or similar to ones in textbook + labs, LEGIT BRO), manageable, a little effort can get u an A- OTHER REMARKS: My mental health was not the best when I took his class, but I showed up, did what I could, and got an A-.

He requires you to pay full attention to his lectures -- you'll be completely lost otherwise. Incredibly caring and a really nice person to talk to!

Dr. Bonato is funny and very engaging. He clearly cares about what he teaches, he uses in-class participation (sounds scary but it is just games) to really solidify knowledge. The textbook is written by him so you already know what knowledge HE expects you to know. No mandatory attendance, but the in-class examples wont be posted online.

The best professor at TMU! As long as you do the homework from the textbook, you will be prepared for the midterms/exam. He's a caring person and a great lecturer who wants his students to succeed. He gives many breaks and ends class very early. He makes his lectures very engaging by playing a game at the end to apply the concepts we learned.
