Majed Alqasas

I come from a humanities background and found it incredibly difficult to wrap my head around Modern Mathematics. Dr. Alqasas was incredibly helpful! I found that his examples and his way of phrasing things to make a lot of sense

Took MTH425 in the spring with Majed and all I can say was that he's absoutely AMAZING. His teaching is easy to understand and he goes over many questions. All the questions from his midterm and final came from his lectures/homework. He is extremely clear about whats on examinations, and drops the lowest of the lab quizzes.

This man is GOATED. Calc 1 & 2, I passed because he did the study halls and taught us everything we needed to know. Now for MTH 425, he was nothing short of SENSATIONAL. Teaches so well and explains everything with precise detail. On top of that his examinations are extremely fair. Go to his lectures, practice the slides and you will pass.

I took this course back in w2025 but without him doing that final review session for discrete math I would not have passed the course. Truly the goat

My GOAT. Explains everything super clearly and makes it easy to follow. Exams are very straightforward too. Just practice the questions he gives during lectures and you'll be in a great spot.

My GOAT. He prepares us well for the exams and makes sure to do lots of examples and goes over it multiple times to really make us understand.

He made the 6-9 class bearable. He's nice but during the midterm he just left the room?? I don't think he showed up for the final exam tho. But overall he's the reason why I like stats

Awesome professor for any MTH course. 314 in specific was a dreadfully boring course which was made better through his lectures. Teaches concepts very well and takes his time to teach the concepts. May not give too many breaks sometimes, but goes at an easy-to-follow pace. Would definitely recommend him for MTH314, or any other MTH course.
